Korea 50-51
AI Mod Version 1.1

TESTED UNDER: THE OPERATIONAL ART OF WAR 3.4.202 with New Turn Rules and New Supply Rules on.

Original Scenario: Norm Koger.
AI Mod Designer: Steve Hunwick.

4th June 2011

INSTALLATION:

1. Place the Korea 50-51 folder in the Graphics folder.

2. The Korea 50-51 folder contains three files. There are two .ai files and this .txt file. Place the .txt file in the same folder as the Korea 50-51 scenario (usually found in the Classics folder).

THE TEXT FILE:

The .txt file serves as a reminder that the .ai file is active.

DEACTIVATION:

To deactivate the .ai file, rename the .ai file and then move the .txt file back into the Korea 50-51 folder in Graphics.

THE AI FILES:

Two .ai files are provided.

The first is named Korea 50-51.ai and this is the active .ai file.

The second is named Korea 50-51B.ai and this is an alternative .ai file.

Only one .ai file can be active at any one time and this has the same filename as the scenario. If you wish to swap the .ai files simply rename them.

KOREA 50-51.AI

This is a re-examination of the Communist and United Nations objectives during the Korean War. PO objectives for both sides adjusted though the changes to the Communist PO are more radical.

KOREA 50-51B.AI

This AI mod does not alter the objectives from the original scenario but it does modify the combat thresholds for the Communist PO forces. It makes the Communist PO a little less suicidal. Otherwise it will play just like the original PO programming.

DISCLAIMER:

These .ai mods are not designed to be better than the original programming or provide more of a challenge to players just to offer an alternative.

Best wishes,
Steve
